New Day

I feel better today than I have in a long time.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (ASV)
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Oh Yahweh you are sooooooooooo good!!!

Psalms 92:2 (GW)
2 It is good to announce your mercy in the morning and your faithfulness in the evening

Well, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do but I wanted to put up a quick post to let you know that this latest puny attempt by hasatan to discourage Brenda and I brings us only closer to our Maker.

May you have a great day and …. May God be  exalted and Praise to Yeshua our salvation…………

Lost Spunk

Yesterday was not a very good day for me.  I laid around all day. Just no energy.  I guess it was my body saying “I need a rest”.  I had DVR’d Undercover Boss and was watching it and this guy is saying “I tell my body what we are going to do and it doesn’t tell me what we are going to do.”  Ok, now I don’t have any energy and I do have a guilt trip.

Feeling much better now. I need to. I have LOTS to do. Praise Yahweh.

Just had a thought. You can call me crazy, cultist, insane for seeking the WHOLE truth and nothing BUT the truth. For following Torah and seeking Yeshua. For learning Hebrew and accepting the fact that God is in His Heaven and has ALL things under control. And that He loves me and I am His child.

Go ahead. This may sound harsh but I don’t give a flip what you think about me.

Only what God thinks.

Speaking of feeling spunky check out my wife’s latest post

Go Forth

Shabbat Shalom everyone. This weeks portion is Lech Lecha, “Go Forth”, in which Avram and Sarai embark on the Great Adventure. And make huge mistakes. And have great victories. Whoever says the Torah is dull is just not paying attention.

One of the major happenings is the birth of Ismael. It is said this is Abrams fifth test. (wow, now I gotta go back and find the other four). You remember the story. Sarai is barren and she offers up Hagar to bear the heir. The plan backfires and now we have Islam.

Anyway, the test was that Sarai comes to Avram and says Hagar is treating her inappropriately because she has the heir in her belly. Now Avram could have said, hey it was your idea deal with it. Instead, he supports his wife. He passed the test.

Yesterday, I went to Amarillo because my cell phone needed replacement. I wanted to go by myself and look at trucks and maybe take in a movie. My wife listened to the Holy Spirit and came with me. Praise Yahweh. If it hadn’t been for her I might have got us into a heap of trouble by buying a truck we didn’t need at this time.

Husbands love your wives.
