VaYichi … and he lived…

Brenda had an amazing revelation last night and I would like to show it to you.

Gen 50:5  ‘My father made me swear, saying, “See, I am dying, bury me in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Kenaʽan.” And now, please let me go up and bury my father, and return.’ ”
Gen 50:6  And Pharaoh said, “Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear.”
Gen 50:7  And Yosĕph went up to bury his father. And with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Mitsrayim,
Gen 50:8  and all the house of Yosĕph, and his brothers, and his father’s house. Only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds they left in the land of Goshen.
Gen 50:9  And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen, and it was a very great company.

Starting with Gen 50 (jubilee) and 5 (grace). Now I know that man made the chapters and the verse numberings but I don’t believe in coincidences either. The Father could have directed this.

Joseph is talking to Pharoah and telling him that he is to bury his father in Canaan. Look at Gen. 50:5  … I am dying, bury me….and return.  Death, burial and resurrection!

Now look at vs. 6-9. The entire House of Israel and Pharoah’s servants went out of Goshen to bury Jacob. Only their little ones were left behind. Now I don’t believe for a minute they left little ones (small children) by themselves. So who were the little ones? Small tots that were left with a few grown-ups they didn’t mention? Uneducated people but grown up?

Also there are several Alef Tavs in this passage, although they are not stand alone. Gen. 50:5 has one near the end of the verse. Here’s how it reads if it suggests Yeshua ….bury my father, (Yeshau) and return (shub in Hebrew, can mean both return and repent).

Very interesting!
